Get to Know Our Newest Advisor: Elliot Palabe

There are many reasons one might choose a career. Maybe it’s the excitement of future opportunities, the salary, or the flexibility. For our newest advisor, Elliot, the reason was simple: he wanted a career where he could have a significant impact on people’s lives while using his passions and skills. Fortunately, he didn’t have to look far to discover those passions and skills. Having been raised in a home where finances and managing wealth were modeled for him, Elliot was inspired by his parents and saw the difference they were making in people’s lives by helping them manage their finances and plan for their future. So he decided to follow in their footsteps. 

Starting His Career

Realizing at a young age that he wanted to also pursue a career in the financial industry, Elliot went to college and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bradley University: Foster College of Business. Adding to his skill set, he also earned his Series 6, 63, 65, and SIE licenses. Elliot started his on-the-job training working part-time at Palabe Wealth during a summer break from college, returning to work full-time in October 2020. 

His Career Today

Since then, Elliot has worked his way through a variety of roles here at Palabe Wealth, including Branch Marketing Associate, LPL Registered Administrative Associate, and now a Wealth Advisor. In his current role, Elliot provides retirement plan solutions for businesses and individuals, while also helping to craft the firm’s brand to better communicate its value to current and potential clients. 

Elliot enjoys working with all clients, however, he feels he relates best to young professionals who are in a similar life stage as himself. They are high earners who have yet to establish true wealth and need guidance on how to invest and manage their finances. He understands the unique challenges they face in today’s economy with housing market fluctuations, student loan debt, and inflation. Elliot utilizes the strong support of his fellow advisors and colleagues as he continues to learn and grow in this profession.

Elliot comes to work every day motivated to give his best to his clients and colleagues because he is driven to see them succeed. He loves meeting with clients and finds satisfaction when he can use his skills and experience with finance to make a positive impact on their lives. Elliot particularly loves working with people of his generation because he knows he can make a difference by helping them become long-term investors and guiding them to be more successful with their finances.
